PEARL CUSTOM CLASSIC SERIES 14 X 6.5 HAMMERED BRASS SNARE DRUM, MADE I – Drumazon

Here we have a quite rare Pearl Hammered Brass snare drum. This snare is circa 92-94 and was one of the last drums made in the Pearl Japanese facility alongside the Custom Classic One Piece Maple, Hammered Steel and Custom Z series drums.The drum features the original Classic Bridge Lug and 2.3mm Triple Flanged Hoops. This snare was the first ever hammered offering from Pearl, the Hammered shell’s acts a bit like the acoustics in a professional studio, the variable surfaces obstruct the air column and force the frequencies to scatter differently, producing a warmer, more controlled response.
